If you’re a pet owner who loves snapping cute pictures and videos of your furry friend, did you know you can actually make money from it?
Pawjourr is a platform that connects pet owners (or “pawrents”) with brands for collaborations, offering paid gigs and free pet products in exchange for content creation.
I stumbled upon Pawjourr when someone from the platform reached out via Instagram DM about a campaign I might be interested in. Curious, I decided to give it a shot.
Here’s my experience making money with Pawjourr and how you can get started too!
What is Pawjourr?

Pawjourr (by the Woof Agency) is an online marketplace that connects pet owners with brands looking for pet influencers. Whether you have a cat, dog, or other pets with a social media presence, you can sign up to collaborate with pet brands on campaigns.
These campaigns typically involve creating user-generated content (UGC) such as photos, videos, or reviews in exchange for monetary compensation or free pet products.
The platform is easy to navigate, and it offers various opportunities depending on your pet’s niche and social media following. Brands use Pawjourr to reach a dedicated pet-loving audience, while pet owners get rewarded for showcasing their pets in fun and creative ways.
Getting Started with Pawjourr
1. Registering as a Creator
To start earning, you need to sign up as a creator. During registration, I selected “I’m a creator, looking for campaigns”to indicate that I wanted to participate in paid collaborations.

Next, I had to fill in details about my pet, including:
- Breed and other basic details.
- A quirky bio to make my pet stand out.
- Social media links (Instagram, TikTok, etc.).

Pro Tip: Having an engaged pet social media account increases your chances of getting hired. I recommend having at least 500 followers with good engagement.
2. Exploring Job Opportunities
Once registration is complete, you can browse available jobs under the “Explore Jobs” section. Pawjourr also sends out email notifications whenever new jobs are available.
Before applying, always:
- Read through the job scope and requirements carefully.
- Ensure the campaign aligns with your pet’s comfort and well-being.
My Personal Rule: I avoid health-related products (e.g., pet supplements, flea treatments) because I don’t want to risk my cat’s safety with unfamiliar brands.
My Personal Experience with Pawjourr
I used to run an active cat Instagram account 2 years ago. Someone from Pawjourr reached out, inviting me to apply for a campaign.
The job?
Create an Instagram Reel of my cat trying a new pet food product and tag the brand accordingly.

- I applied and got accepted.
- Filming the content was fun and simple.
- I learned how to create a User-Generated Content (UGC) video.
- My cat got to try free food (big win!).
- I earned RM30, which was credited to my Pawjourr wallet.

What I Like About Pawjourr
1. Extra pocket money
2. My cat gets to “work” and earn treats
3. Easy-to-use website with frequent job notifications

4. Jobs are mostly UGC photos/videos, making it easy to replicate
5. Responsive customer service (brand manager replied to my inquiries within 24 hours)
6. No minimum withdrawal limit for payouts
What I Don’t Like About Pawjourr
1. High competition – It’s tough to get selected unless your pet’s social media presence is strong.
2. No deadline for brands to accept/reject jobs – Some jobs stay “pending” indefinitely. I still have an application from 2023 marked as pending!

Conclusion
Pawjourr is a fun and easy way to make money if you enjoy creating pet content. If you’re considering signing up, here are some tips:
Grow your pet’s social media following (at least 500 followers with good engagement is ideal).
Be selective with the jobs you apply for – only choose ones that align with your pet’s well-being.
Stay consistent – once you complete a few successful gigs, it becomes easier to get accepted for more campaigns.
